After some brainstorming, I've decided to use Bookworms as the focus of my Narrative. The story will be something simple, like a bookworm having his girlfriend snatched by another, evil worm. Then they will chase into either a video game or a children's book, each with their own interactive portions in them. I've done a quick initial character design for the main bookworm just so I can get a rough idea of the style I'll be going for:
As I said, this is just a first draft of what the character could look like, but this is pretty close to what I'm looking for.
I've also decided that I'm going to animate this piece, to give it a lot more life than still images could provide. the simple style really lends to clean, bouncy animation, so I will do my best to achieve this!
